Forever spring, I
fall for him in all seasons;
his love kills winter.
Simple, complex, tight, embracing. Wonderful!
Very short and equally sweet.
smiles…this is beautiful and uplifting…love seeing love forever bloom…smiles.
his love surely does….and brings so much new life…beautiful anna
Love it. This is my kind of poem. Say so much in just a few words. Thank you for your sweet offering.
I want one of those… as we are slowly approaching winter. I know what you mean.
This speaks volumes! A wonderful write presented in a favorite form…well done!
Three out of four seasons in one tiny poem! But what of the heat of summer?!?
The word choice of “his love kills winter” intrigued me, too. A very personal global warming? A wood stove to warm yourself by? The AntiJackFrost?
So much packed into this abbreviated piece. Certainly sparked associations for me. Thanks!
What an inspired distillation!
Oh, this is an excellent haiku! Love it 🙂
Ain’t nothin’ like spring, that’s for sure!!
